Daniel Carter has been an artist and designer since 2012, though art has been a part of his life since childhood. He is currently seeking work in the film industry.

Daniel received a BFA in Theater Design with an emphasis in Costume Design from Utah State University in 2017. During his schooling, Daniel had the opportunity to design costumes for Factory Girls (2015) and Next To Normal (2016). In 2016, he interned with Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater as an assistant costume designer for Peter Pan, the inaugural performance in the newly renovated Utah Theater. He has acted as the stylist for musician Kristina Evonne’s shows and photo shoots. He was tutored by Halsey Onstage in the craft of handmade tutu construction.

In addition to costume design, Daniel has worked as a florist since 2014. He is a certified florist in funerals, weddings, and special events. Daniel worked at Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater as a shop purchaser in the summer of 2017.

Daniel is a quick learner, excellent at taking charge, and is constantly seeking to improve his craft. He recently completed his first year of graduate studies at the University of Georgia, earning a place in the MFA department. He looks forward to designing two shows during his second year. He currently resides in Athens, Georgia.
